Karen C. Swallen, MD

Karen Swallen is a board certified physician in family medicine with obstetrics. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Yale University in New Haven, CT and her masters of public health and doctor of philosophy degrees from the University of California-Berkeley. She earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Swallen completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin - SSM St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, WI.

Swallen's practice is focused on women's health, obstetrical care, children's health, and resident education.

Dr. Swallen is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

In her free time, Dr. Swallen enjoys cross-country skiing, running, reading, and spending time with her family.
